Return of the McFly's

People have been lobbying for these shoes to come out since WAY back in the 80's when Marty McFly first strapped em on, there are even websites dedicated to getting Nike to make and release the original shoe. Well Nike has finally budged (somewhat) in releasing the Mcfly Hyperdunk 2015, a shoe "inspired" by the originals re-made famous by Kanye (see Graduation album artwork). they even glow in the dark! The Nike McFly Hyperdunk 2015 are now on ebay for a measly $1,200, and will be at Nike House of Hoops (in NYC) as well as Niketown and other select Nike retailers this Saturday, July 12th for $200.
As you can see i'm trying to get a little fashion involved in the blog (note the two show sites in the Preferrd List)

Jordan and Nike take another "L"

Onsmash-
Here is a detailed look at the Air Jordan Force 20 (XX) Fusion which are set to hit stores in December! They combine features from the Air Jordan 20 and Air Force Ones. They feature a black / stealth / varsity red color scheme, and draw inspiration from the Air Jordan 20 (XX) Original (OG) - Stealth. A majority of the shoe sports a black patent leather covering, which is defintely an attention grabber.
These boys are HIDEOUS!, the original Jordan 20 was ugly, so why would you reamake it WORSE?? This Air Jordan Force 20 line started out on fire but the last few pairs i've seen have been trash! What do you people think?

Dr. Pepper tells Nas that he CAN'T be a Nigger Too...

If beng forced to change the title of the album wasnt enough, the first song released off of the LP had to be scratched from the album completely because the people at Dr. Pepper wouldnt clear the sample. Here's the full story by Illseed at AllHipHop.com:

This was sent to me from some of my elite intel. Remember Nas’ “Be A N****r” too? Yeah, the one with the video. Well, that record has been dumped from the album that has no name. It didn't make the album because Nas and his people couldn't get the sample in the beat cleared. Isn’t that something? But it gets even deeper from what I understand. I don’t know that you all know, but the hook of the song is actually borrowed from a jingle of soft drink soda “Dr. Pepper.” Yea, the original hook said, “I’m a Pepper, He’s a Pepper…wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper too.” Well, Nas essentially replaced “Pepper” with “N****r” and that was a “no-go” for the people over at Dr. Pepper. They refused to let Nas use the hook melody, because of the N-Word in the music. At any rate, I heard the album is really impressive. I don’t think that one song is going to affect that anyway.

New Nas

"QB's Finest" goes HARD at the media in this new track, he even references that clip (i would post it, but Youtube deleted ALL of em) that Fox News played over and over again when they were bashing the dean of Virginia Tech for allowing a "gangster rapper" to perform at their tribute concert.

Jay-Z to appear on TWO new remix's

Out on the United Kingdom leg of his tour, Jay-Z is still finding the time to jump on the hottest tracks he can find. Two weeks removed from revealing his eight figure dreams on Lil’ Wayne’s “A Milli”, two new remixes are set to hit the streets in the coming days featuring brand new verses from Jay-Z

There are whispers Jay will be featured on a brand new remix of Estelle’s popular “American Boy”. But the more highly anticipated verse is set to appear on Young Jeezy’s “Put On” which features Kanye West on the original.

Def Jam executives are mum on details of when these tracks will premiere, but be sure to check back with The Moment of Truth for updates.

David Banner turns to Wayne for hit

After two lackluster singles "9mm" and "Get Like Me", the Jackson Mississippi native turns to Weezy to try and garner a legitimate hit before his album drops next month.

I know he's racing against the clock and all but how can you sample "Lollipop" ALREADY its still in rotation, and the way he cut it doesn't even sound good!

On the heels of having Tha Carter III being certified platinum after only a week , Wayne wasted no time thanking his fans in this remix to his single "A Millie"

While I still don't think that album came CLOSE to the expectation, you can't argue with 1.5 million. And its cool as hell of Wayne to thank the million+ who ran out last week and supported him

Boston Celtics: The 2008 Champs!!!!!!

Now when the finals started I saw Boston as the underdogs even though they had the best record in the league and they swept the Lakers in the season series. I saw the Celtics as the underdogs because of how much it took them to get through the east and to the finals. The Lakers on the other hand breezed through the west on their way to the NBA finals. After this NBA Finals series I have concluded that the East was the toughest conference this year and that Boston deserved to win this championship. Seeing Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen getting their rings as veterans of the game is a wonderful thing and I'm happy that they won. The better team won in this case. We all saw how the Celtics outplayed, out hustled, shut downed, and in the last game they humiliated the Lakers. I'm not a Lakers hater by any means necessary. Neither am I a Kobe hater. Lakers are a good team and Kobe is a great player.
I'm not sure of the of the ratings for this NBA Finals but it had to be the highest ratings for it in a long time. You had two classic teams of the NBA matching up with each other in such a long time, you had 4 potential hall of famers, you had a team that was the worse team in the NBA last year and you had a team who has been consistent for many years even being a dynasty at one point. If only it would've lived up to the hype that would've made it great. The games were great to watch but I was expecting a seventh game winning shot. You know something epic. This series will be talked about but for how long? I don't know.
I noticed how many people were pulling for the Celtics also. There were some true Lakers fans who stayed true but then there were others who switched sides after a few games. There were also others who hopped on the Celtic Bandwagon when they say they were up against the Lakers and it's some people that hate Kobe so much that they went for the Celtics just because it meant a Kobe lost. I salute the real Celtics fan who stuck with them all year or even throughout the entire playoffs and even the ones who picked them to win the finals when they heard they were in it. I do not salute those who picked the Celtics because they dislike Kobe. I agree he is a jerk, his personality sucks, he's a cheater, and yes he's cocky but he's a great player. Kobe couldn't beat the Celtics by himself and he damn sure didn't lose by himself so everyone need to stop saying that they happy Boston won because they gave it to Kobe. NO! They gave it to the whole damn team so Kobe shouldn't take all of the blame. He should take the most blame out of anyone though because after all it is his team.
Once again Congratulations Boston Celtics 2008 NBA CHAMPIONS!!! YOU'LL DESERVE IT!

It's Been a Few Days...

It's been a few days and I guess it wasn't a joke. R. Kelly was really acquitted of all charges. REALLY??? HMMMMMM REALLY? HMMMMMMM REALLY? are you bullshittin me? This rapist man really got off... I was shocked when I heard the verdict. Don't get me wrong I'm all for black men not going to jail and I like some of Kels music but damn if he got off then how many other criminals are getting off??? I wonder. Mike Tyson had no evidence but was convicted of rape and R. Kelly got off even though he had a tape. I see they went with the mole defense... good good. Moles can't be remove and they can't grow over the course of 6 years. so that makes it a good defense. BULLSHIT!!! What kind of weak ass case did the prosecution have? wtf! You have a tape with a girl that is clearly underage, you have a witness, you have someone that looks exactly like R. Kelly. That's an easy win! But no the defense won this case probably because Kels money is long. I'm not saying that he paid off the girl in the tape but it's a possibility. It's a damn shame it really is. What I can say is that the justice system is bullshit. Looking at cases whether we say it's a victory for blacks or not with the decision most of these decisions are still wrong whether it's Rodney King or R. Kelly.

R. Kelly Acquited on ALL CHARGES

After all the controversy, fanfare and drama, a Chicago jury has acquitted R. Kelly of all his child pornography charges.

Kelly cried tears of joy as the verdict was read. Kelly faced 15 years behind bars if found guilty. The way Kelly beat the case? By convincing the jury that the man in the now infamous video having sex with an underaged girl was not him. The "mole" that R. Kelly has on his back was not on the back of the man who was alleged to be Kelly in the video. That - and the alleged victim denying that it was her in the video - basically left the jury no choice to acquit the Grammy-nominated singer of all charges. It only took two days for the jury to deliberate.

The 41-year-old was charged with 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with a girl who was said to be as young as 13.

I seen the tape, and yea.....it was him, but in America it aint whether you did it or not, its if u can get enough people to SAY you aint did it. Good job Kells, we'll be expecting your victory song soon!

Tha Carter III (Reveiw)

I was gonna write my own reveiw of the album but i found this one on HipHopDX.com that basically says what I was gonna say.

Lil Wayne is easily the most hyped artist in the music industry over the past couple of years. The Carter III is, without a doubt, the most anticipated album of the year. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s dissect Tha Carter III without an extensive character analysis of Lil Wayne. We all know his behavior is equal to that of a bonafide rock star – whether we like it or not. And whether you like him or not, everyone is curious what Lil Wayne can do for a wheezing Hip Hop industry on Tha Carter III.
This review isn’t about Lil Wayne’s antics. Nor is it about who he is as a person. This is about the immensely anticipated album that is Tha Carter III. As with everything Weezy F Baby does, this album will be just as talked about as his Styrofoam cup toting, rock star image. Tha Carter III encompasses it all: The good, the bad and definitely the ugly.
There are those that perceive Wayne as the new “greatest rapper alive” because of his numerous guest appearances and his progression from Hot Boy to sizzling emcee. There are others who simply aren’t too sure that the hype is well deserved. Tha Carter III speaks to both critics and fans loud and clear.
There are moments that Lil Wayne puts together that simply electrify. The David Axelrod sampling on “Dr. Carter” is Weezy at his finest. He crafts a luminous concept of utilizing his rhymes to breathe life into a culture on life support. Too many quotable moments to cite here, but just know that Wayne accelerates through the Swizz Beatz offering as if not only his life, but the existence of Hip Hop culture, depended on it. As “Lollipop” became the questionable lead single, it is hard to believe that there is a more radio friendly offering than the collaborative effort featuring Babyface with Kanye West behind the boards on “Comfortable.” As Babyface careens in and out of Mr. West’s soulful offering, Wayne pulls off an easy to digest joint. The brooding guitar plucks and marching drums of “Shoot Me Down” pull off an intense musical atmosphere. Wayne does the song justice by not overpowering the production and instead allowing it to build momentum as he creeps through with lines like: “Pop I did it to ‘em/I’m a bastard/and I’m a do it again like nigga backwards/cause these niggas backwards/but behind us/Now watch me get high like time’s up.”
Unfortunately, all is not well in Wayne’s world. What is truly unfortunate is how “Mr. Carter” underwhelms. The Lil Wayne/Jay-Z collaboration looks too good to be true on paper – and unfortunately it is. Both Wayne and Jay give solid performances, but neither take it to that next level as many would expect. One would also assume that T-Pain hopping aboard “Got Money” would equal instant success. That certainly is not the case. Both have put on stellar guest offerings in the past but don’t seem to mesh well over the Play-n-Skillz production. Elsewhere, Kanye West and Deezle serve up a three course platter of beat building ready to be torn to shreds on “Let The Beat Build” but Wayne just doesn’t seem to have the appetite to eat this track alive.
The album also gets lost in Wayne’s spewing of gibberish throughout. On many of the songs Wayne bounds about aimlessly as he seems content with putting words together for the sake of putting them together. “Playing With Fire” finds Wayne all over the place lyrically and upon further inspection his rhymes don’t make too much sense and it becomes easy to believe that he doesn’t write any of his lyrics down. For further evidence of the often confusing ramblings, the sprawling (and aptly titled) “Don’tGetIt” flounders around for just under ten minutes and will leave even the biggest Weezy pole jockey dozing off during his misdirected rants and long winded clowning of Al Sharpton.
Of all the “WTF” moments on the album, “Mrs. Officer” is the definitive head scratcher as Wayne discusses sexing down female police officers. An awkward moment indeed. What makes “Mrs. Officer” a humongous flagrant foul is Bobby Valentino’s mimicking of a police siren on the uninspiring hook. His claims of being a Martian on “Phone Home” aren’t too far fetched, but the hook borders on becoming a bit strange. The claims of being “rare like Mr. Clean with hair” are clever, but the spaced out production of Cool & Dre, coupled with the awkward sci-fi hook, can be a bit much on the senses.
But with pulse pounding moments like “A Milli” pounced and ripped to shreds by Weezy, all is not lost on Tha Carter III. The expectations may have been set too high for Wayne as he too seems to have become lost in his own intoxicating cloud of hype. The blame could partially be put on the fans for magnifying the concept that Wayne can do no wrong because they salivate to fill the void that Jay-Z has left in the game. There is no doubt that Dwayne Carter is a talented artist who has the potential to become a king amongst peasants in the industry. But like Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Anfernee Hardaway and Grant Hill early in their careers, a premature crowning of being the next #23 can be equally damaging as it can be inspiring to a young career. Tha Carter III is flashes of brilliance surrounded by a number of rookie mistakes made by a young veteran of the game. Let’s see what Wayne does when stuck under the microscope of criticism and continuous comparisons to the greatest artists of our time from here on out.

How I Feel About It.......The Term "Hater"

Now, there are a lot of things that just irks the hell outta me and one of those things is how people now-a-days use the word "hater". I HATE when people call me a hater if I'm not being one, ESPECIALLY if they ask me my opinion of something. If I don't like it, THEN I DON'T FREAKIN LIKE IT...it doesn't mean that I'm "hating" on u. It means I'm being honest. I mean really, am I supposed to agree wit wat everyone likes even if I don't like it, HELL TO THE NAW!!! But anyway, this is MY definition of a hater, someone who constantly talks down about u to your face or behind your back, always has something negative to say, for absolutely no reason, when they see you're doing good or on the come up, or just being something like jealous. So the next time someone decides they wanna call me a hater they better make damn sure I'm acting like one (chances r NEVER) cuz if not they might just get treated. And that's just how I feel about it!

I Have One Question... Do You Give Head???

For those who have not seen American Hustle because you don't have cable, live under a rock, or is Amish... Katt Williams speaks about giving head in it. Now if you've seen it and you just laughed and didn't take it seriously or if you haven't seen it then you should go back fast forward to that part and take great notes because what he is speaking is the absolute truth. It's 2008 if you not giving head male or female then you are missing out on pleasing your partner. This is not the the 90s you will not be looked down upon if you give head unless you given head to the whole block. Given head to your girlfriend or boyfriend is acceptable... and I know for some of yall girls it tickles and yall don't really like receiving it. well we gonna take a moment out for yall... Fuck YALL and moving on... I won't speak about the guys and how they feel about receiving it cause that's just a dumbass question. ladies may not give head and they might think they man alright with that but that's bullshit cause every man loves head. GO HEAD AND ASK EVERY MAN YOU KNOW... and if they say no then they getting it somewhere else, they never had it, or they don't like how you give it... Now when it comes to giving head there are complaints everywhere. For the girls it's you're a hoe if you do it, or it's demeaning, or i just don't like doin it blah blah blah bullshit... okay you're not a hoe unless you giving everybody head... keep that shit only to your boyfriend or if you have a longterm sex buddy maybe your exes. same thing for guys you don't give that girl you met at the party and took home head... if you concerned about safety then be sure you have a faithful partner if you find yourself not being sure then use a condom it takes a way from the feeling but it's the thought that counts. just use a thin or flavored condom. For those who find it demeaning... please explain to me why. I can guess that it's the being on the knees part but no one said you have to be on yo knees to give head so that can be changed for you rather quickly. i don't like the taste of it or i don't like how it feels in my mouth... is your mouth different from the girls that love doing it? Do they have that special taste bud that makes them enjoy giving head a whole lot? If you enjoy pleasing your partner and you enjoy sex then you should enjoy giving head. It's as simple as that. If you don't give head for religious reasons I understand that's completely understandable and you shouldn't be having sex at all... if you are then you are one of those people that we call hypocrites. If you have a problem with the cum from giving head tell yo man to tell you before he cum... it don't work every time so you might have to take one for the team every once and a while I'm sorry. For the guys: You think it makes you a lil feminine. You think you lose respect. and blah blah blah bullshit. okay. if pleasing your women and making sure they satisfied is feminine then you can call me feminine. Nothing makes you more of a man than knowing how to please your women... Some guys have a problem with the taste... it's understandable if there's hair in that area cause we know some ladies and some fellas got fros in that area then you might have a peculiar taste in your mouth swallow that shit and drink something with flavor later. If they don't like getting head try your hardest to convince your women that she should let you do it because the main way females cum is through oral and finger stimulation... it's not through intercourse most of the time... so try to convince her. As for the religious aspect the same rule applies to this. as far as safety make sure you trust your partner cause wrapping her shit up is not gonna be pleasant for you or her.

Giving head for both females and males will make your relationship better. If you think it's disgusting give me your reason why because you might have a point. If you don't like what I said give me your reason why because you might have a good point. I just feel that it's nothing wrong with men or women giving head. If you don't have sex at all and you religious it's cool but if you do have sex you might definitely want to look into it. I wrote this note because I got tired of hearing about women not giving head... I'm like damn it's 2008 and they still not giving head and i'm like why not so if you have your own personal reason why you don't then give me that reason in the comments and i'll for sure will comment back.

Introducing...

The name is Black Sol I will be contributing my opinions, thoughts, soul, and heart to this blog... look out for more postings. Let's get it De'Vinity and Rell!

The Classics...

Every so often I'm going post a throwback rap song, some of which u may be familiar with, but I will try to post some of the rarer ones I've come across to try and put y'all up on something

Some consider this the best hip-hop song EVER, although many say this sparked the East Coast/ West Coast rivalry of the 90's...

Common- I Used to Love H.E.R.

(and if you were wondering, "H.E.R." stands for Hip Hop in its Essence and Real

Yes We Did!

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, becoming the first black candidate to lead a major party into a campaign for the White House.

Obama arranged a victory celebration in St. Paul, Minn., at the site of this summer's Republican National Convention — an in-your-face gesture to Sen. John McCain, who will be his opponent in the race to become the nation's 44th president.

The 46-year-old Obama outlasted Clinton in a historic campaign that sparked record turnouts in primary after primary, yet exposed deep racial and gender divisions within the party.

Hillary Clinton on a Possible "Dream Ticket"-
"I am open to it," Clinton replied, if it would help the party's prospects in November, said the participant, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the call was a private matter.
